Although some designs do not make it, we still like to show them. Boekenbalie (Book shop), a service for buying and selling used books, is such a project. We gratefully used the dog ear as a visual element. By folding a page in four places, we formed the main logo’s B.
Excited about the flexible deployment of the concept, we made a preliminary design for a couple of examples. It is always a nice adventure to work with analogue material. We tested the inking and printing of the folded Bs, in combination with using comments and notes to refer to thoroughly used study books.
A clear base with a distinct window for bespoke content. A flexible concept that is able to keep up with category changes or focus of the company.
