A hidden layer that highlights the unique progression per patient

Awarded the Award of Excellence at the International Creative Media Awards.

For this thesis Alan Abdulla investigated the optimization of antibiotic doses in critically ill patients.

The cover design has a pattern that reflects the rise and fall of drug levels in the blood – a general curve that applies to all patients. The glow in the dark layer adds an additional layer of meaning, reflecting individual drug exposure that varies from patient to patient, and reflects the essence of the study.
