Making the complex simple. That was the mission of researcher Henk-Jan Westeneng, and therefore ours too.
For Henk-Jan’s research into ALS, we translated a network of networks using two colours, which we used to show overlap, connections, parallels, and differences.
As a studio, we are fascinated by patterns and enthusiastically explored a wide range of possibilities. We discussed the results with Henk-Jan to determine which arrangement was the right one. This enabled us to ensure that the content and form were precisely in line with the thesis discussed in the book.
